As a Community and Wellbeing Manager, you will develop and deliver programmes, activities, and initiatives that enhance the lives of residents, creating a welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant community. The Role- Deliver a holistic wellbeing programme across the four pillars (social, mental, physical, and financial), offering inclusive, engaging, and innovative activities for residents and members.
- Build strong, person-centred relationships with residents, providing support, guidance, and signposting to help them live active, independent, and connected lives.
- Create community and inclusion, encouraging resident-led activities, developing wellbeing champions, and addressing barriers to participation.
- Develop and manage partnerships with third-party providers and healthcare professionals to enhance the well-being offer.
- Work collaboratively across village teams to identify opportunities for connection, wellbeing, and engagement.
- Measure impact and drive continuous improvement, using insight, feedback, and survey data to shape and evolve the wellbeing programme.
- Manage the commercial performance of the programme, including budgets, memberships, paid activities, and opportunities to increase footfall and F&B income.
- Support sales, resales, and brand advocacy through vibrant community activity, resident case studies, and positive experiences.
- Ensure service excellence and compliance, maintaining high presentation standards, safeguarding health & safety, and accurate reporting.
- Lead and support others, including line management of the Wellbeing Assistant, promoting team wellbeing, and contributing to engagement across the village.
- Communicate positively and visibly, acting in line with brand values, championing the Respect Charter, and keeping residents informed and engaged.
- Proven experience in the wellness or wellbeing sector, with a track record of driving customer satisfaction, increasing engagement, and enhancing brand reputation.
- Experience working with a diverse range of customers, ideally including residents aged 65 and over.
- Strong financial awareness and budgeting skills, with a passion for maintaining high-quality services and consistently excellent standards.
