We are looking for a talented Regional Sales Manager to lead sales performance across our South Region, driving occupancy, elevating customer experience, and supporting our mission to inspire better living. As Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of your region. You will lead, mentor, and motivate Sales Advisors across multiple villages, overseeing the full sales journey and ensuring every prospective resident and their family feels informed, supported, and inspired. Your commercial focus, people leadership, and passion for customer experience will help build thriving communities and deliver sustainable growth.
The Role:
- Leadership & Team Management
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring Sales Managers across all villages within the assigned region (North or South)
- Conducting regular competency framework assessments for all sales team members, identifying strengths and development needs
- Developing and embedding best practice sales processes in line with “The Inspired Way”
- Ensuring effective onboarding, induction, and playbook training for all sales teams within the region
- Championing the proactive use of key sales and marketing systems and tools, including COINS and Sherpa
- Implementing regular training programmes to improve competency framework scores across the region
- Setting clear objectives and conducting personal development reviews for Sales Managers in line with company processes
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of Sales Managers and their teams
- Sales Strategy & Performance
- Developing and executing regional sales strategies to achieve targets, including a minimum of three sales per village per month
- Overseeing new sales and resale activity, ensuring all opportunities are maximised
- Monitoring sales pipelines and intervening proactively to address underperformance or emerging challenges
- Collaborating with Marketing and Operations to create and execute tailored sales and marketing plans and budgets for each village
- Partnering with Central Marketing to drive high-quality lead generation
- Working with Sales Managers to develop plans for stock plots and optimise part exchange and home visit initiatives
- Reporting & Analysis
- Preparing and presenting regular reports on sales performance, trends, and progress against regional targets
- Analysing sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to senior management
- Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the Commercial Director and other key stakeholders
- Compliance & Best Practice
- Ensuring all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies
- Collaborating with Sales Operations and Commercial Management to define, refine, and share best practices across the region
- Customer Experience & Brand Enhancement
- Championing the Inspired Villages proposition, ensuring a consistently high-quality customer experience throughout the sales process
- Acting as an ambassador for the company’s mission and values, fostering a positive and inclusive culture within the sales teams
- Collaborating with internal and external partners to enhance the reputation and reach of Inspired Villages in the retirement sector
- Attending sales and marketing events within the region as needed to drive quality lead generation
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in sales management, within the retirement, property, estate agency, or housebuilding sectors
- Track record of leading and developing high-performing sales teams across multiple locations
- Experience in setting and achieving ambitious sales targets, covering both new sales and resales
- Demonstrated ability to implement competency frameworks and deliver effective training, coaching, and development for sales teams
- Strong proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools, using data to drive performance, insights, and strategic decisions
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
