Our purpose drives us to build real communities that enhance the lives of our residents every day. We are seeking an HR Adviser to join our expanding team.
After seven years of phenomenal growth and numerous awards, we are backed by a joint venture partnership between Legal & General PLC and NatWest Group Pension Trustee Limited. We are on course to significantly transform the later living experience in the UK, with a commitment to expand our portfolio to 34 retirement villages, which will equate to around 5,000 age-appropriate homes for retirees.
The role of HR Adviser is to deliver proactive, professional, and people-focused HR advisory support across Inspired Villages, contributing to a high-quality, consistent HR service. This role supports the entire colleague lifecycle, providing first-line guidance to managers and employees while ensuring the efficient administration of HR and Learning & Development processes.

The Role:
HR Administration & Process Improvement
- Lead the efficient delivery and continuous improvement of HR administrative processes, driving operational excellence and an enhanced user experience for colleagues and managers.
- Ensure HR systems (e.g., HRMS, Learning & Development platforms, engagement tools) are accurately maintained and aligned with GDPR and other data protection standards.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows and digitise processes, contributing to a more agile and responsive HR function.
- Manage the end-to-end administration of employment documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion across contracts, contractual changes, and offboarding.
- Collaborate closely with Payroll to ensure seamless integration of HR changes and accurate
HR Advisory & Employee Support
- Act as a trusted first point of contact for all HR queries, providing pragmatic, solution-focused advice to managers and employees across the business.
- Support the development, rollout, and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with organisational values.
- Champion a positive employee experience by providing timely support across the full colleague lifecycle, from onboarding to exit.
Learning & Development Coordination
- Coordinate the planning and execution of L&D initiatives, including mandatory compliance training, onboarding programmes, and career development opportunities.
- Maintain and optimise the Learning & Development platform, ensuring training content is up to date and records are accurately tracked.
- Monitor and report on training completion and compliance, proactively engaging with stakeholders to close gaps and drive accountability.
- Gather and analyse feedback on training effectiveness to support the continuous evolution of development offerings.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Provide end-to-end administrative support for recruitment processes, including interview scheduling, contract generation, and completion of pre-employment checks (e.g., references, DBS).
- Deliver an engaging and structured onboarding experience that sets new starters up for success and supports a seamless transition into the business.
HR Systems & Data Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data across all HR platforms, ensuring data integrity and compliance with governance standards.
- Generate regular HR and L&D reports to inform strategic decision-making, track KPIs, and identify emerging trends.
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews by ensuring HR documentation and records are consistently maintained and readily accessible.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in an HR advisory or senior administrative role, ideally with exposure to Learning & Development.
- Strong working knowledge of HR and L&D systems and processes, preferably gained in a fast-paced or multi-site environment.
