As we expand our award-winning retirement villages, we’re looking for a dedicated Gardener to join our talented Grounds Team and help shape the landscapes that make our communities so special.
The Role:
As a Gardener at Inspired Villages, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the beautiful outdoor spaces our residents love. This is more than just a job — it’s an opportunity to take pride in your work, build genuine relationships, and bring joy to others through your horticultural skills.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Maintaining lawns, flower beds, hedges, shrubs, and borders to a high standard
- Supporting landscaping projects, including drainage, pathways, and step repairs
- Clearing leaves and debris using both machinery and manual tools
- Performing minor estate repairs and maintenance tasks
- Assisting with gutter and gully clearance
- Conducting statutory testing as required
- Providing friendly support to residents with gardening-related enquiries
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working within grounds care and maintenance
- Strong general plant knowledge
- Competent working to Health and Safety and COSHH regulations
- Any qualifications within the horticultural field would be desirable, but not essential.
