We are looking for a Resales Manager to join our team, leading the resale function across multiple villages, with the flexibility of remote working. We are driven by a clear purpose: to build thriving communities where residents feel valued, supported, and inspired every day.
As a Resales Manager, you will oversee the full resale process from instruction to completion, ensuring every resident and buyer experiences a professional, seamless, and supportive journey. You will provide leadership and direction across the resale portfolio, driving performance, maintaining compliance, and delivering exceptional customer experience standards. Using your strong sales expertise and commercial insight, you will optimise resale values, reduce transaction timelines, and contribute to the overall financial performance of the villages.
Sales Leadership & Customer Journey
- Leading and overseeing the resale function across multiple villages, ensuring a consistent, high-quality customer journey from enquiry to completion.
- Driving prompt, professional responses to all resale enquiries, both online and in person.
- Overseeing and, where appropriate, conducting village tours and home viewings in collaboration with Village teams, ensuring a personalised and engaging experience.
- Managing the full sales process, ensuring smooth progression from initial enquiry through to legal completion and move‑in.
- Acting as a senior escalation point for complex sales or customer matters.
- Liaising with solicitors, financial advisers, estate representatives, and other third parties to ensure efficient progression and minimise delays.
- Driving performance against resale targets, optimising values, and reducing transaction timelines across the portfolio.
Customer Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with current owners (or their estates), prospective residents, families, and key stakeholders.
- Ensuring accurate and effective use of the LOOP CRM system to manage pipeline activity, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Embedding consistent follow‑up processes to maximise conversion and enhance customer experience.
- Leading with empathy and professionalism, supporting customers through what can often be a sensitive and significant life transition.
Marketing & Business Development
- Leading resale‑related marketing initiatives in partnership with the central Marketing team to generate high‑quality leads.
- Overseeing and supporting marketing events, open days, and community activities that drive resale interest.
- Representing Inspired Villages at networking events and within the local community to enhance brand presence and referral opportunities.
Performance, Governance & Collaboration
- Collaborating closely with Regional and Village Sales Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to align resale strategy with broader commercial objectives.
- Ensuring compliance with all company processes, legal requirements, and governance standards throughout the resale journey.
- Producing accurate reporting on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and performance metrics.
- Contributing to a high‑performing, collaborative sales culture and supporting the development of best practice across the resale function.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in estate agency or property sales, with a strong and demonstrable track record of delivering against targets.
- Strong understanding of the local property market and community dynamics, with the ability to position properties effectively.
- Experience managing the full sales process confidently, from initial enquiry through to legal completion and move‑in.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to optimise resale values and drive performance across multiple sites.
- Sound understanding of the legal and financial processes involved in property transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems, with experience using LOOP highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple sales pipelines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, able to engage effectively with residents, families, solicitors, and key stakeholders.
- Experience working within retirement living or a customer group undergoing significant life transitions would be advantageous.
