Inspired Villages is seeking an experienced Village General Manager to lead Ledian Gardens, a thriving retirement village in Leeds, Kent. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to manage operations, lead diverse teams, and create an exceptional living experience for residents aged 65+, within a growing and values-driven organisation.
We are looking for an experienced leader to step into the role of Village Manager at Ledian Gardens, our vibrant retirement community in Leeds village, Kent. Ledian Gardens welcomed our first residents in 2022 and has two development phases open, with a third due to start shortly. The village currently consists of 115 properties and offers residents, guests and members a range of facilities and services designed to offer a holistic approach to wellbeing, including restaurant, café, pool, gym and studio, along with beautiful, shared spaces and grounds.
As a customer-driven business, our Village Managers are at the heart of everything we do. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll take full responsibility for the performance, culture, and success of a busy and growing retirement village, creating a safe, welcoming, and vibrant community where residents, guests, family and visitors truly feel at home.
As Village Manager, you’ll lead multi-disciplinary teams, oversee operations, financial controls, customer experience, and commercial performance, and act as the face of the village for residents, families, and service partners. You’ll balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, ensuring exceptional service, strong engagement, and a community that continues to flourish. You’ll also work closely with the sales team based at the village, supporting future sales prospects, first sales and re-sales with a partnership approach and the delivery of service excellence.
What does the future look like? Well, Inspired Villages is continuing to invest in building and operating more new communities, so you can be sure that there will be future opportunities to stretch and grow in our business. Our next community, already in the construction phase, is Little Mount Lake, located near Tunbridge Wells, with more to come in the South /Southeast.
Key Requirements
- Proven leadership experience with a people-centred, empathetic approach
- Extensive experience in a multi-disciplined service environment with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable for results
- Qualifications or experience in a related sector
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety, compliance, and risk management
