Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes that are creative, high-quality, and visually appealing to delight our residents and guests
Supporting the Head Chef in developing new dishes and menus, contributing ideas and creativity to enhance the dining experience
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
Monitoring portions and controlling waste to maintain profitability and efficiency
Preparing café-style food (brunches and light lunches) alongside the Kitchen Assistant
Receiving and checking deliveries, completing all relevant paperwork to ensure compliance
Conducting stock control, including stock rotation and accurate record-keeping
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef in a busy, high-volume kitchen
Excellent knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and culinary procedures
Food safety qualifications (working towards Level 3 in Food Safety or equivalent is desirable)
Creativity and passion for food, including design, preparation, nutrition, and presentation
Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently while maintaining high standards
