Over 35 years of experience, our mission is to deliver recovery, dignity and community inclusion for adults with long-term mental health conditions. Coalville Care Home offers 24-hour, therapeutic support to help residents develop life skills, confidence and independence. Our experienced team collaborates with health and social care professionals to deliver person‑centred care that enables meaningful living.

As a Support Worker you will play a vital role in helping our service users live safely, comfortably and with purpose. You’ll support individuals with daily routines, personal care, and social activities, encouraging independence wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support emotional and physical wellbeing in line with personalised care plans.
  • Encourage independence, choice and active participation in daily life.
  • Assist with medication, meals and personal care where required.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships that promote stability and confidence.
  • Support activities both within the home and in the community.
  • Maintain accurate care records and effective communication with the team.

You Should
  • Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team.
  • Be patient, understanding and respectful at all times.
  • Be flexible to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

All training will be provided, including the Care Certificate if you are new to care. Opportunities to progress through nationally recognised qualifications and internal development pathways are available. All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check, covered by the employer.
