Overview
Hours: 10 hours per week, possibly increasing to a total of 17 hours per week once a relationship has built. Preferably during school hours.
Responsibilities
- PA tasks: To support with managing the home environment, meal prep, and domestic tasks, correspondence and community activities. Support with showering/strip washing, wash hair.
- Support to access the community and clients\’ places of interest.
- PA will be required to use their own vehicle to drive the client to places of interest; therefore, own vehicle with full clean driving licence and business insurance required. Mileage will be paid.
- Client interests/hobbies: Arts and crafts.
- Clients’ relevant diagnosis: Autism, depression, anxiety and Adult ADHD. Client can be agitated due to anxiety.
- PA required to work on a 1:1 basis. To assist to maximise independence and to access community social and recreational activities.
- A good understanding of Autism and anxiety is required. Previous care experience desired but not essential. This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and respectful of others’ privacy, dignity, values, and beliefs.
