We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Home Care Assistant to join our amazing team at Bridgwater Home Care in the Harborough and surrounding areas (Market Harborough, Lutterworth, Oadby, Wigston, Kibworth). Please note that we do not offer sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver award winning care to people within their own home.
• Provide companionship visits.
• Spend valuable time with a client.
• Participate in meetings and catch‑ups at the Bridgewater office with the rest of the team.
• Support clients with household duties and light housekeeping.
• Chaperone clients to appointments, to do their weekly shop or to get out in the local community.
• Provide personal hygiene care, where needed.
• Offer emotional support as a caring friend.
• Ensure clients are safe and comfortable, living well in the comfort of their home.
• Support clients with their nutrition, hydration and overall well‑being.

Essential Criteria

• Positive person.

• Own car.

• No prior care experience required – we provide excellent training for all staff.

Working Times

• ADHOC shifts to cover holidays and absences.
• Morning 7am‑11am (depending on location).
• Lunch 11am‑3pm (depending on location).
• Tea 3pm‑7pm (depending on location).
• Beds 7pm‑11pm (depending on location).
• Alternative weekends.

Location

This particular role is based in the Harborough area supporting clients within and around Market Harborough, Oadby, Wigston, Lutterworth, Kibworth and more.

Pay

Between £13.00 and £14.00 per hour, depending on client needs. Mileage is paid for calls between clients.
