As the Local Marketing Manager, you will be embedded within the Currys retail marketing team, working closely with ITG to develop and execute local marketing strategies that enhance brand presence and drive customer engagement across their store estate. While the focus is on local execution, the initiatives must be scalable to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the store estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Currys and internal ITG teams to design and implement local marketing campaigns that align with overall business objectives.
- Develop and manage localised marketing initiatives that effectively engage target audiences and enhance brand visibility within specific regions.
- Ensure that local marketing strategies are scalable and can be adapted for broader application across various locations.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local store managers and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing activities.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to deliver high-quality marketing materials and services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging marketing technologies to continuously improve and innovate marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in local marketing management, preferably within a retail environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative marketing solutions.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus.
- Confident working with strategists and creative teams.
- Confident building close relationships with store managers and able to travel nationally.
