Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Account Director to join on an initial 8 month contract.
We are looking for someone experienced in eCRMto lead, nurture and grow the delivery of Team ITGs CRM services across a number of brands. Supporting clients with their CRM strategy, creative design and email best practice, you’ll support the teams delivering all campaign build and deployments to ensure they are aligned with your and the clients vision and expectations.
You must be a proven Account Director who is passionate about exceeding customers’ expectations, be someone who likes to work hard, be hands-on and tackle new challenges. As a driven and ambitious individual, you will be able to help identify and support the wider account team with opportunities of growth across the account.
- Ensure account teams deliver exceptionally high-quality BAU (Business As Usual) activity to meet client deadlines and consistently exceed expectations.
- Act as the client's CRM partner, gaining a deep understanding of their business needs and the KPIs they are measured against.
- Oversee and support a team of Account Managers and Account Executives in their day-to-day client interactions.
- Guide the team in working closely with multiple client stakeholders to extract detailed requirements for data-driven campaigns and ad hoc projects.
- Confidently brief internal departments using a structured workflow management process.
- When required, take full ownership of project delivery from start to finish — including briefing, discovery, proposal development, testing, deployment, and post-campaign reporting.
- Produce campaign performance reports and provide actionable recommendations to enhance client email marketing strategies.
- Proactively seek ways to improve client campaigns by leveraging data, analytics, and customer insights.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients based on data analysis.
- Track all client activity against budget and report regularly to key stakeholders and the Business Unit Director.

- Keeping the ITG Account team and other internal stakeholders up-to-date on a regular basis and proactively escalating any areas of concern
- A good understanding of clients business requirements
- Proactively seek areas in which to develop and grow the account
- Financial management of campaigns and project trackers (where required)
- Clear objectives to be set annually as part of the ITG Appraisal/PDR process will help focus on the specific priorities
- A good understanding and previous experience working with the email channel
- Agency experience in a client facing role, preferably digital or integrated
- Focus on client satisfaction through impeccable client servicing, handling and reporting
- Able to pro-actively resolve client issues when they occur
- Organised with very good attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Relevant computer skills – highly proficient in using Microsoft
