We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic self-starter to help nurture existing relationships across one of our biggest accounts, whilst overseeing day-to-day Stores Marketing projects. You must be an Account Manager who has been in the role for 2 years, is passionate about exceeding customers’ expectations, and is someone who likes to work hard and tackle new challenges. As a driven and ambitious individual, you will be able to identify opportunities for growth across the account; this could be identifying points in the marketing calendar that we can look to amplify or looking at the current scope of work to see how we could be working efficiently and smarter. You will become someone that the clients see as a “safe pair of hands” with a good understanding of their business needs and KPIs they are measured on. You will be working closely with senior members of the ITG team to support them in multiple client stakeholder relationships.

You will manage and deliver small to medium-sized projects through the production process from briefing, proposal, creative, production, and delivery. You will be constantly looking for ways to improve your clients’ campaigns and have an interest in the retail environment, Visual Merchandising, and design, providing relevant insights and recommendations. You will also be expected to manage technical artwork briefs, working with our artworking studio. There will also be a requirement to use our Storyteq systems, to create templates and brief print management projects. As an account manager with experience in brief writing, we’re looking for you to be able to extract detailed requirements for retail campaigns, ad hoc projects, and events, to convert this information and confidently brief internal departments through a workflow management process. You will be responsible for the finance of your projects and reporting this to the business.

Communication is key in this role; for deploying any of our client’s campaigns you’ll be working with multiple client stakeholders, internal print managers, artworkers, and designers. Your satisfaction will come from owning this activity to completion.

What I am required to demonstrate:

  • An interest and willingness to understand client’s business requirements.
  • You’re a fast learner and are capable of working efficiently with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously and proactively understand the impact to client, creative, and technical departments.
  • Ability to work closely with internal departments: Studio team, creative, and project management with clear communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail for comms and artwork.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Resilience and commitment. Be prepared to go above and beyond to get the job done.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years agency experience in a client-facing role, preferably in Retail or omni-channel campaigns.
  • Understanding of and ability to articulate best practices in retail/stores campaigns.
  • Ability to work with a Project Manager effectively in a partnership function with certain projects.
  • Understanding of print management, with a good comprehension of design and artwork.
  • Focus on client satisfaction through impeccable client servicing, handling, and reporting.
