Please note, this is an initial 6-month FTC. As a CMS Author your role will be working closely with our Agile development teams to help build new components, functionality and experiences within our Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS platform. You will work closely with developers to ensure the components are built in an easy to use and scalable way, and then work with the QA team to ensure they have everything required to test newly built functionality. Working with one of our biggest and most reputable clients within the automotive industry, you will be working at the forefront of some really exciting projects as you work as part of a wider team to take our team and client forward!
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with developers to design the authoring interface of components and pages within AEM
- Working with the QA team to ensure they have sufficient content to test new functionality within our sites
- Working with designers and copywriters to ensure assets and content are sufficient for new functionality
- Creating authoring guides to ensure new functionality is able to be used easily by other content editors
Requirements:
- Good understanding of web based technologies and best practices
- Understanding the technology and applications for which documentation is to be prepared
- Gathering and analysing information
- Working on and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Great attention to detail
- Understanding the importance of Quality Assurance and applying QA methods and techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and strong organisational skills are essential, as the role demands you to work closely with third party companies and key stakeholders
- Proven ability to deliver projects within the agreed timelines
- Highly organised, personable and approachable
- Confident, flexible, self-starter
- Prior experience in AEM or other web based content management system is a 'nice to have' but not essential!
