We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Account Director to lead key client relationships and deliver integrated marketing solutions across traditional print, digital, and CRM channels. This role requires a unique balance of strategic thinking, data‑driven decision‑making, and operational excellence, combined with strong client leadership and the ability to orchestrate cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, multi‑channel campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the senior point of contact for key clients, building trusted, long‑term partnerships.
- Understand client business objectives and proactively identify opportunities for growth.
- Deliver strategic guidance across integrated communications, including print, digital and CRM.
- Lead regular client reviews, presenting performance insights and future recommendations.
- Interpret and leverage data to inform campaign strategy, optimisation, and reporting; apply a strong analytical mindset to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
- Ensure CRM and digital strategies are aligned with wider marketing objectives.
- Keep clients informed of wider ITG activity regularly and suggest innovative ideas to add value.
- Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of multiple, complex projects across channels, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and high‑quality delivery.
- Implement robust processes and workflows to drive efficiency and consistency, manage risk, troubleshoot challenges, and maintain momentum across all workstreams.
- Provide hands‑on support to CRM and Print Management team members during peak activity and holiday periods.
- Bring together internal teams (strategy, creative, data, production, and technology) to deliver integrated solutions, aligning stakeholders around clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Foster a collaborative, solutions‑oriented team environment, managing and mentoring account managers, operational staff, and production teams.
- Own client budgets, forecasts, and revenue targets; identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities; ensure strong financial governance and profitability; report commercial and performance activity to the client regularly.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in an Account Director or senior client services role, ideally within an agency or integrated marketing environment.
- Proven experience across print, digital, and CRM marketing.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to influence decision‑making.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management and operational delivery.
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Commercially aware, with strong budget and revenue management experience.
