We are looking for a technically minded Motion Designer to learn how to build templates within a key ITG technology stack - both from scratch and from existing designs. You will be adapting key visuals, motion and graphics using our content automation platform. We seek someone with a perfect blend of creative and technical approaches to design and motion. You will need to be comfortable in the nitty-gritty of After Effects and its plugins, as well as being versed in key design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma, and how to utilise these programs to roll out halo content across a vast scale, thinking in parameters and variables. This role is made for a perfectionist - you obsess over every detail to ensure that every brief is completed to the best it can be! You will need to be able to learn and adapt to new technology, where accuracy and detail is key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Confident in unpacking and deciphering complex briefs
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to work closely with creative, technical, Ops and CS teams
  • Be meticulous with QA and review of final output - file build and structure are crucial to ensure accurate delivery of assets both for manual output & templating
  • Able to work to specific creative guidelines both when creating adapts and building content from scratch
  • Ability to work under pressure and SLA's
  • Able to add value and be keen to promote efficiencies in project builds, design processes & workflows

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Adobe After Effects & Adobe Photoshop
  • Basic proficiency in Figma
  • Ability to turn around high-quality graphics & motion content quickly with a proactive & adaptable approach
  • Good understanding of basic production workflows for digital content
  • Ability to learn new platform technology as part of the role
  • Javascript & AE expression knowledge is a bonus but not essential
  • Experience with UX/UI design systems or knowledge of modular design is advantageous
  • Experience with HTML & CSS is beneficial, but not essential
  • Experience with sound/music editing as well as TV production is beneficial, but not essential
