We’re seeking a hands‑on Network Engineer to support and evolve our hybrid network environment across on‑premises and public cloud (Azure and Google Cloud Platform). You’ll be responsible for day‑to‑day operations, lifecycle management, and project delivery for routing, switching, security, wireless, and edge services—across Cisco, Netskope SASE, Juniper, UniFi, and HPE platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Operations & Support: Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across LAN/WAN, WLAN, VPN, SD‑WAN, and internet edge.
- On‑Prem Infrastructure (Windows Server 2016 and above): Support core services (AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, NPS/RADIUS).
- Cloud Networking (Azure & GCP): Design, implement, and maintain Azure VNets, Subnets, NSGs, UDRs, Private Endpoints, VPN/ExpressRoute and GCP VPCs, Firewall rules, Cloud VPN/Interconnect.
- Secure Access & Edge: Operate and optimise Netskope SASE (SWG/CASB/ZTNA/DLP) policies and remote access solutions.
- Wireless & Campus: Deploy and support UniFi/Ubiquiti wireless and switching; manage HPE/Aruba campus networking.
- Vendor Platforms: Cisco IOS/IOS‑XE/NX‑OS and Juniper SRX/EX platforms.
- Automation & Tooling: Use Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform) and scripting (PowerShell/Python).
- Governance & Compliance: Apply ITIL change/incident/problem practices and embed security best practice.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Netskope SASE, UniFi/Ubiquiti, and HPE networking/appliances.
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, routing (OSPF/BGP), switching (VLANs, STP), VPNs (IPsec/SSL), SD‑WAN, wireless security.
- Experience with Windows Server 2012+, Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, UDRs, ExpressRoute/VPN), and GCP networking (VPCs, Firewall rules).
- Proficient in automation (Terraform, PowerShell/Python) and troubleshooting using packet capture tools.
- Clear documentation skills and familiarity with ITIL processes.
Desirable Qualifications & Knowledge
- Certifications: CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS, Netskope SASE exposure, Azure Network (AZ‑104) Engineer Associate, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer.
- Experience with NAC, firewalling, scripting, SolarWinds Observability, and compliance frameworks.
