Please note this is a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract. The Field Consultant will be responsible for supporting automotive retailers by delivering onsite marketing expertise, campaign execution, and performance optimisation. The role bridges central marketing strategy and local retailer implementation, ensuring brand consistency, lead generation, and commercial growth across the network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the rollout of local marketing campaigns
- Advise on local marketing activity, including digital advertising, social media, CRM, email and showroom events.
- Ensure correct use of brand guidelines across online and offline materials
- Coordinate local activations, events, and promotions to drive showroom traffic and leads
- Analyse marketing KPIs such as leads, conversion rates, footfall, and ROI
- Use insights to recommend improvements to retailer marketing strategies
- Produce visit reports, performance reviews, and action plans
- Educate retailer teams on marketing tools, platforms, and best practice
- Provide coaching on digital marketing, lead handling, and customer journey optimisation
- Identifying growth opportunities and solving local challenges
- Liaise with central marketing teams and internal agency team
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in automotive marketing, or field-based consultancy
- Strong understanding of UK automotive retailer operations
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels (paid media, social, CRM, lead management)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to analyse data and translate it into actionable recommendations
- Full clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
Desirable:
- Experience working with OEMs, Retailer groups, or automotive marketing agencies
- Familiarity with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, dealer websites, and CRM systems
- CIM or other marketing qualification
