The predicted salary is between 25000 - 32000 £ per year.

Please note, this is an initial 4-month FTC.

As a CMS Author, your role will be working closely with our Agile development teams to help build new components, functionality and experiences within the CMS platform.

You will work closely with developers to ensure the components are built in an easy to use and scalable way, and then work with the QA team to ensure they have everything required to test newly built functionality.

Working with one of our biggest and most reputable clients within the automotive industry, you’ll be working at the forefront of exciting projects as part of a wider team to take our team and client forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with developers to design the authoring interface of components and pages within AEM.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure they have sufficient content to test new functionality.
  • Work with designers and copywriters to ensure assets and content are sufficient for new functionality.
  • Create authoring guides to enable content editors to use new functionality easily.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of web-based technologies and best practices.
  • Understanding of the technology and applications for which documentation is to be prepared.
  • Gathering and analysing information.
  • Working on and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Understanding the importance of Quality Assurance and applying QA methods and techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong organisational skills, as the role demands working closely with third-party companies and key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects within agreed timelines.
  • Highly organised, personable, and approachable.
  • Confident, flexible, self-starter.
  • Prior experience in AEM or other web-based content management systems is a 'nice to have' but not essential.
