Where does this role fit in?

As a valued member of the Whitbread print production team, you will play a critical role in overseeing and executing various essential tasks that are fundamental to our operations and success:

  • Managing data, artwork, and print briefs within the organisation utilising our advanced technology systems to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
  • Verifying the information provided by clients meticulously to guarantee that the briefing is not only accurate but also aligns with our high standards of quality and client expectations.
  • Participating actively in client project meetings, where your insights and contributions will help shape project direction and foster strong relationships with clients.
  • Leading internal project meetings, taking charge of discussions and ensuring that all team members are aligned and informed of current progress and future objectives.
  • Overseeing client and supplier critical path management, diligently tracking timelines and deliverables to ensure that all projects remain on schedule.
  • Managing the print-on-demand solutions as well as requests for quotations (RFQs), fostering clear communication and collaboration with suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Monitoring work in progress (WIP), keeping a close eye on project developments to identify any potential issues early on and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Ensuring timely invoicing and completing month-end tasks, maintaining accurate financial records that support departmental and organisational goals.
  • Maintaining a savings tracker to monitor cost efficiencies, providing valuable insights into budget management and resource allocation.
  • Assisting the broader team with content and production tasks, demonstrating versatility and a team-oriented mindset as you support various projects and initiatives.
  • Conducting site visits to verify and quality check point-of-sale (POS) deliveries, ensuring that all materials meet our stringent quality criteria prior to deployment.
  • Attending press pass and quality control sessions as needed at print partners, upholding our commitment to excellence through active oversight of production processes.
  • Providing comprehensive weekly reports on work in progress and ongoing or upcoming initiatives, offering transparency and updates to stakeholders regarding project status and future planning.
