We are seeking a commercially driven Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of strategic client accounts. This role combines account management, client relationship development, commercial oversight, and sales growth responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent client outcomes while identifying and delivering revenue growth opportunities across assigned accounts. Working closely with Sales, Delivery, Talent, and Executive Leadership teams, the Account Manager will act as the primary commercial point of contact for key clients, ensuring long-term partnerships, profitable growth, and exceptional service delivery.

- Support the sales process by helping define engagement and delivery models, solutions, and resource requirements to meet client needs.
- Work with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery.
- Collaborate with Sales to agree commercial models and complete formal account handovers.
- Partner with Service Delivery Managers to ensure timely onboarding and deployment of resources.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen senior stakeholder relationships across assigned accounts.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities to mature and expand services within existing accounts.
- Increase account revenue through growth of service offerings and resource expansion.
- Lead proposal development and commercial submissions for designated clients.
- Negotiate contract renewals and extensions.
- Develop and execute account growth plans aligned with business objectives.
Commercial Management
- Achieve revenue growth targets across assigned accounts.
- Maintain accountability for account profitability, revenue performance, and margin protection.
- Ensure commercial commitments are maintained throughout the client lifecycle.
Delivery Governance & Client Satisfaction
- Act as the primary escalation point for client concerns and service issues.
- Ensure services are delivered in line with contractual commitments, scope, and quality expectations.
- Attend and chair governance and strategic review meetings where required.
- Present performance scorecards, service metrics, and improvement plans.
- Drive successful resolution of delivery and commercial escalations.
Market & Service Development
- Provide market insights and recommendations to the Head of Quality Delivery and leadership team.
- Support innovation initiatives and promote adoption of new services, tools, and solutions within client environments.
- Gather client feedback and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of service offerings.
- Work closely with Executive Leadership, Delivery Management, Talent, and Sales teams to ensure the right resource mix across accounts.
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and consultant retention initiatives.
- Maintain regular engagement with senior consultants and client-facing teams to ensure alignment with account objectives.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years' experience in Account Management, Client Success, Business Development, or a similar commercial role.
- Proven ability to grow revenue within existing client accounts.
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience managing commercial discussions, proposals, and contract renewals.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of account profitability.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, delivery, and operational teams.
- Comfortable managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Experience within professional services, consulting, technology services, software delivery, quality engineering, or testing services.
- Knowledge of managed services and resource augmentation models.
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and executive-level clients.
