Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to support the design, improvement and maintenance of automation frameworks and test tooling across delivery teams. This role is suited to someone with strong hands-on automation experience, solid coding ability, and a good understanding of CI/CD and quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain and improve test automation frameworks
  • Write clean, scalable, reusable automation code using sound OOP principles
  • Support CI/CD integration for automated testing
  • Review code, resolve issues and contribute to framework improvements
  • Help improve code quality, maintainability and test coverage
  • Work closely with technical teams and provide guidance where needed

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in test automation engineering at senior level
  • Solid object-oriented programming skills
  • Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks
  • Good CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Strong code review, troubleshooting and refactoring skills
  • Knowledge of scalable, maintainable test design principles
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders and technical teams

Desirable

  • Experience with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube
  • Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience
