A very exciting opportunity has just become available within a big and busy multiple practice with several test rooms and a large close-knit team of 40+ strong. The role is for an experienced Qualified Dispensing Optician on a permanent full-time contract.
- Salary: Ranging from £30,000 to £32,000
- Team bonus scheme: Approx. £150-£300 per month
- Benefits: Private medical & dental and fees paid
- Hours: 40 hours (8:30am-5:30pm, 9-4 on Sundays) including one weekend day

This practice has a modern look with all new equipment including OCT and iPads. Considering the busy multiple practice, it has a clinical feel while being very customer-focused.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician:
- The role will entail all shop floor duties including dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests, and contact lens teaches.
- You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on the best options.
- Reception duties and general admin will also be part of the role to help the smooth running of the practice.
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Qualified Dispensing Optician, ideally within a busy practice.
- A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
- A customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician:
For your efforts, a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £32,000 is on offer along with a strong bonus scheme (Approx. £100-£150 per month) as well as additional benefits. You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training, progress, and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
