This independent group of opticians started out as a family run business, and now with over 35 stores; including fully owned, franchised, and joint venture partnerships, they pride themselves on being a high-quality eyecare brand, providing personalised, high-quality service to their customers, supporting both optics and audiology.
As a Dispensing Optician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customers receive an excellent service. Your duties will include dispensing spectacles, managing stock, and providing personalised consultations.
Salary is up to £30,000 per annum, 33 days annual leave, 2% commission per dispense (circa £200-£500 per month) and flexibility on weekends, with no Sundays and the option of alternate Saturdays.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
- Dispense spectacles based on current prescriptions.
- Maintain accurate stock levels.
- Support the Branch Manager in monitoring branch performance.
- Offer personalised advice to customers regarding available stock.
- Adjust spectacles to meet customer needs.
- Follow up on reminders and keep all parties informed.
