This independent group of opticians started out as a family-run business, and now with over 35 stores; including fully owned, franchised, and joint venture partnerships, they pride themselves on being a high-quality eyecare brand, providing personalised, high-quality service to their customers, supporting both optics and audiology.
This group of opticians pride themselves on ensuring customers receive an excellent service. While managing the practice and increasing turnover for the branch, you’ll also be keeping staff happy as well as the patients coming through the door.
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum depending on experience, 33 days annual leave, fees paid, and ongoing clinical development.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist:
- Full eye examinations using the latest equipment (OCT and Optomap).
- Occasional contact lens fitting.
- Provide accurate diagnoses and make appropriate recommendations for vision correction and eye health when handing over to the shop floor team.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient practice operations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements, products, and technologies.
- Uphold professional standards and follow legal and ethical guidelines.
Requirements of the Optometrist:
- Fully qualified Optometrist (open to newly qualified or experienced).
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye examinations within a 30-minute time frame.
- Competence in contact lens fittings and prescribing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and the team.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to a positive working culture.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
Compensation of the Optometrist:
- Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum.
