About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Optical Practice Manager to oversee two established optical practices in the Manchester area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership and organisational skills, looking to take the next step in their career. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum, with Monday to Friday working hours and minimal weekend requirements. As Optical Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of both practices, ensuring that high standards of patient care and service are maintained. You will be expected to manage and support a team, implement key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure processes are followed consistently across both locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth running of both practices, ensuring operational efficiency and excellent patient care.
- Lead and motivate a team of optical staff, fostering a positive and productive environment.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed.
- Handle patient enquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain financial records and help manage budgets.
- Work closely with senior leadership to achieve business objectives.
Who We’re Looking For:
- At least 4 years of experience within an optical practice, with a proven track record of managing teams and operations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes and procedures.
- Proactive, organised, and capable of handling multiple tasks at any one time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in implementing KPIs and ensuring performance targets are met.
- Ability to manage budgets and stock levels efficiently.
