The Role

This is a full-time Optical Assistant position within a busy and well-established practice, working alongside a supportive and experienced team. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Dispensing spectacles to all levels
  • Carrying out pre-screening tests
  • Contact lens teaches
  • Frame styling and patient advice
  • Supporting the wider team and stepping up when needed
  • Delivering excellent customer care at every stage

Working Hours: 9:30am – 6:30pm, 1 weekend day per week required

What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to speak with Optical Assistants who have at least 1 year of experience, ideally within a busy practice environment. You’ll need:

  • Confidence dispensing to all levels
  • A friendly, approachable manner
  • Strong work ethic and team spirit
  • A genuine passion for customer care
  • The ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues alike

Training and development are taken seriously here, so if you’re eager to learn and progress, you’ll be well supported.
