About the RoleWe are looking for two enthusiastic and customer-focused Optical Assistants to join our friendly, high‐street practice. With 14 team members, 3 test rooms, and a reputation for offering exceptional patient care in a chilled, non‐micromanaged environment, this is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to grow and develop within optics.

What You\’ll Be Doing

Providing a warm, professional welcome to all patients

Dispensing to all levels, including complex prescriptions

Carrying out pre‐screening and supporting the clinical team

Assisting with minor eye conditions (MECs) appointments

Supporting myopia management services

Helping run one Hearing Care clinic per week

Ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the store

Delivering excellent customer service on a busy high street location

Working collaboratively with the wider team to maintain high standards

What We\’re Looking For

Previous optical experience required

Confident, approachable, and able to build rapport with patients

A team player who enjoys working in a relaxed but professional environment

Someone keen to learn, grow and take on new responsibilities

Flexibility to work one weekend day each week
