We’re working with a well-established domiciliary optical provider looking for a well-organised Optical Administrator to join their busy office team in Kilmarnock. This role would suit someone currently working in optics who enjoys the structure and organisation side of the job and is ready to step away from dispensing into a fully office-based position.

The Role:
- Managing and organising patient appointments
- Scheduling domiciliary visits and aftercare appointments
- Coordinating field teams and planning daily travel routes
- Speaking confidently with patients over the phone
- Handling general office and administrative duties
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the domiciliary service
You’ll Need:
- Optical experience preferred (ideal for someone moving away from dispensing)
- Strong computer skills and confidence using office systems
- Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
- Confidence speaking on the phone with patients and team members
- A calm, methodical approach – especially when juggling diaries and schedules
- The ability to prioritise and keep things running smoothly
Working Hours:
- 09:00 – 17:30, Monday to Friday
- 1 Saturday in 6 required
- Day off in the week when Saturday is worked
