You’ll work alongside experienced DO’s and receptionists in a well-equipped, welcoming environment. Responsibilities Conduct 30-35 minute eye examinations (pre-screening completed) Provide exceptional clinical care including MECS and contact lens services Work collaboratively with the in-practice team (1x Optometrist, 2x DOs, receptionists) Optionally support across Southborough for additional days if preferred Maintain accurate records in line with GOC guidelines Support clinical training and development within the team if desired Requirements GOC-registered Optometrist (newly qualified or experienced welcome) Passion for delivering patient-centric care Interest in clinical development (support available for MECS, IP, Medical Retina) Comfortable working in a relaxed, independent-style environment Ideally someone local, reliable, and seeking a long-term position Salary: Up to 65,000 (depending on experience) Working Hours: 9am-5pm weekdays, 9am-2pm Saturdays (closed 1-2pm weekdays for lunch) Days: 3-4 days per week (including the potential for alternate Saturdays) Holidays: 28-33 days pro-rata (negotiable) Extras: o GOC fees covered o Full support for CET courses and clinical development o Indemnity insurance o Free parking at the practice o No KPI pressure – just great patient care #J-18808-Ljbffr
