A leading membership body devoted to disseminating research and best practice in surgery is hiring for a Clinical Data Manager! Based in Windsor, our client is a leading provider of first class data, education, learning resources, journals and other publications that champion pioneering research in the surgical field globally. They are looking for a skilled Clinical Data Manager to support their Quality Improvement Programme, working with leading hospitals, surgeons and data partners to enhance the quality, consistency and impact of their clinical databases.

About the Role
You will lead the onboarding and curation of hospital data for our client’s flagship registries, ensuring high-quality, well-mapped datasets that drive research, benchmarking and best practice in surgery. Working closely with scientific leads and technology partners, you will manage data workflows, support users, and contribute to the development of analytical tools, reports and data standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee hospital data onboarding, validation and secure data transfer
- Manage data curation, cleaning, mapping and quality checks
- Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines
- Support users with technical queries and database access
- Produce reports, statistics and insights for centres and stakeholders
- Contribute to data dictionaries, protocols and platform improvements
About You
You should have some experience in health data management or working with observational healthcare datasets, with a strong command of SQL, statistical programming tools such as R, Stata, Python or SAS, and advanced Excel. Candidates should be comfortable working with cloud-based data pipelines, and familiar with version control and collaborative coding practices. Aside from these technical skills, we are looking for someone who can communicate clearly, manage stakeholders confidently, producing reports and presenting findings. Knowledge of clinical data standards or health datasets is an advantage, as is experience with electronic health records, or data protection principles.
