Our client is a well-established and highly regarded book publisher, and they're looking for a Senior Royalty Assistant to join their busy finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with publishing royalties experience who enjoys working with numbers, contracts and people, and wants to develop their career within a supportive publishing environment.

Must haves
- Some experience in royalties, or a closely related publishing role
- Confidence reading publishing contracts and interpreting royalty and payment terms
- Strong numerical and Excel skills
- Comfortable analysing and working with large volumes of data
About you
You'll be accurate, organised and naturally comfortable getting into the detail. You'll enjoy problem-solving and working with data, but you'll also be a confident communicator who can explain royalty information clearly to colleagues, authors and other stakeholders. Experience using a publishing royalties system would be useful, but isn't essential.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced royalties team, you'll help ensure authors and other rights holders are reported and paid accurately and on time. You'll review royalty information against contractual terms, check rates and payment details, investigate queries and analyse royalty statements and data. You'll work closely with teams across the business, making this a varied role combining royalties, contracts, finance and stakeholder communication.
