Our client is seeking an experienced and forward thinking Portfolio Lead to drive innovation, quality, and strategic growth across a diverse learning portfolio within a leading professional education environment. This is a pivotal role for an organisation committed to delivering worldclass training and professional development to clinicians, dental professionals, and wider healthcare teams.

As Portfolio Lead, you will be trusted to:

  • Shape emerging areas of educational practice, guiding new concepts from initial exploration through to full integration within established programmes.
  • Champion evidence based, learner centred design, ensuring that all learning products are strategically aligned, operationally robust, and responsive to evolving workforce needs.
  • Work closely with internal teams, subject matter experts, and external partners to maintain strong governance, transparent communication, and high quality delivery.
  • Embed digital first thinking, leveraging technology enhanced learning, and identifying opportunities to streamline processes, automate workflows, and improve scalability.
  • Financial planning, supporting sustainable business models, evaluating ROI, and ensuring resources are prioritised effectively.
  • Lead a team of 6, including recruiting, coaching, and developing a high-performing team, setting clear KPIs and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

About You

You will bring substantial experience leading portfolios of educational or training products, ideally within a complex or regulated environment. You will be confident establishing governance frameworks, managing risk, and aligning workstreams to organisational strategy. Your background will include integrating digital learning approaches, using data to inform decisions, and driving operational consistency across multiple programmes.

You will be an exceptional communicator, skilled at building relationships with senior stakeholders, faculty, and cross-functional teams. Experience in clinical or health related education, faculty models, or widening participation initiatives is advantageous but not essential.
