Must haves:
- Experience in assessment, psychometrics, or a related field, with a solid understanding of how to design effective tests and measure learning, ideally within a language learning setting, and for Young Learners.
- Familiarity with modern approaches such as adaptive testing or similar.
- Interest in how AI can be used in assessment.
- Comfortable working closely with product and engineering teams.
About you:
- Ability to take complex ideas and make them simple and practical.
- Enjoy working with others and can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and motivated by making a real impact for learners.
- Experience in EdTech, digital platforms, or language learning/assessment would be a bonus, but isn't essential.
The Role:
- A highly visible, hands‐on role where you'll take ownership of how learning is measured across the product.
- Design assessments, improve how progress is tracked, and help shape how new technology (including AI) is used in areas like marking and feedback.
- Work closely with product, design, learning and engineering teams to ensure everything is accurate, practical and easy for educators and schools to use.
