We are seeking a highly proactive and consultative Amazon Account Manager to take ownership of our clients' Amazon presence and elevate their sales strategy.

This is a new and pivotal role within their business, designed for someone to truly make their mark. You will be instrumental in maximizing our Amazon sales by providing strategic oversight and hands‐on management. While various departments currently touch upon the Amazon account, this role is about bringing dedicated expertise and vision to the forefront.

What you'll be doing:

  • Strategic Ownership: Taking full ownership of our Amazon account, identifying opportunities for improvement, and advising on strategy and best practices.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Interpreting Amazon's performance data, manipulating large datasets, and creating new reports to drive commercial decisions.
  • Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory, managing vendor lead times, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment for our thousands of ASINs.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Proactively identifying and troubleshooting issues, implementing systems to prevent problems, and maximizing performance across our diverse catalogue (hardback, audio, etc.).
  • Collaborative Influence: Working closely with our operations director, warehouse manager, and marketing team to ensure a cohesive and high‐performing Amazon strategy.

What our client is looking for:

  • Demonstrable Amazon Account Management Experience: You know Amazon inside out, specifically with experience in both Amazon Advantage and Vendor Central platforms.
  • Exceptional Data Analysis Skills: The ability to analyse large datasets, create new reports, and automate processes to reduce workload. Strong Excel skills are a must.
  • Commercial Acumen: A deep understanding of sales patterns, why products perform (or don't), and how to capitalize on successful titles.
  • Proactive & Consultative Approach: You don't wait to be told what to do; you come in with ideas, insights, and the confidence to advise on strategy and best practice.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to clearly communicate complex data and strategies to various internal stakeholders and, potentially, external partners.
  • A Background in Publishing is Ideal: An understanding of the publishing landscape and how client publishers fit into the Amazon ecosystem would be a significant advantage.
