Must haves
You'll have experience in assessment, psychometrics, or a related field, with a solid understanding of how to design effective tests and measure learning, ideally within a language learning setting, and for Young Learners. You should be familiar with modern approaches such as adaptive testing or similar, and have an interest in how AI can be used in assessment. You don't need to be technical, but you should feel comfortable working closely with product and engineering teams.
About you
You're someone who can take complex ideas and make them simple and practical. You enjoy working with others and can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues. You're proactive, solutions-focused, and motivated by making a real impact for learners. Experience in EdTech, digital platforms, or language learning / assessment would be a bonus, but isn't essential.
The Role
This is a highly visible, hands‑on role where you'll take ownership of how learning is measured across the product. You'll design assessments, improve how progress is tracked, and help shape how new technology (including AI) is used in areas like marking and feedback. Working closely with product, design, learning and engineering teams, you'll make sure everything is accurate, practical and easy for educators and schools to use.
