Our client is a world‑leading professional institution producing high‑quality content that promotes a deeper understanding of global economics and geopolitics. We are currently recruiting a Graphic Designer on a 3–4‑month fixed‑term contract. The role is hybrid: three days a week in the Central London office and two days remote. The candidate should be available to start early June.

Responsibilities

  • Convert complex data into clear, compelling data visualisations in the form of graphs, charts and infographics to enhance understanding of complex ideas.
  • Create editorial layout and design for academic and research‑based publications, ensuring meticulous typesetting (widows, orphans, footnotes, text flow) using InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Collaborate on new projects across the wider organisation, producing visual content that supports messaging and analysis.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with InDesign and Illustrator for editorial design and typesetting.
  • Proven experience in data visualisation, including using Excel to create graphics.
  • Genuine interest in global economics and geopolitics.
  • Experience producing academic and research‑based publications is advantageous.
