Inspired has an incredible opportunity for a Commissioning Editor to publish fantasy and science fiction with one of the world\’s most innovative and fast-growing digital publishers.

Our client, is looking for a highly motivated Commissioning Editor to join their editorial team. You\’ll acquire and publish around 18 titles a year, working across a range of commercial SFF sub-genres. From finding exceptional new authors to shaping books with global appeal, you\’ll play a key role in growing this exciting imprint, which launched last year.

We\’re looking for someone who understands what SFF readers love along with a keen eye for great stories, covers, and commercial opportunities. The ideal candidate will combine creativity and strong editorial instincts with a data-driven mindset, all while being an excellent communicator and collaborator.

Our client is fast paced and with a great reach and many ideas they really value the teams vision , we and use data to help shape bestsellers. You\’ll have the autonomy to acquire and publish without unnecessary hurdles, access to real-time sales data, and the chance to work on books that reach readers worldwide.

Salary: £33,000-£42,000 depending on experience and location.
