Our client is a highly prestigious professional membership body based in Essex – they are currently recruiting for a part‐time Editorial Coordinator to join their Communications team focused on editorial administration across ScholarOne peer review systems to deliver their book and journal publications, covering an initial nine‐month maternity leave period. This will be a hybrid role, ideally working in the office in Essex three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).
The Editorial Coordinator will be responsible for all operational aspects of their book and journal publications, including the editorial and peer review process, administration, governance, marketing and publication impact.
The successful candidate will have an interest in the humanities or social sciences, and in professional or academic publishing. This role requires super high standards of accuracy and organisation, as well as superb interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in ScholarOne would be an advantage, but is not essential.
