ROLE SUMMARY: As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in delivering engaging learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and British National Curriculum. Kiddy English is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team in August 2026. We are looking for a motivated individual who is committed to supporting high-quality early childhood education, values child-centred learning, and enjoys working within an international school community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the delivery of a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
- Assist in the development of children aged 2–6 through play-based learning
- Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Is a fluent or proficient English speaker with strong communication skills
- Has experience working with young children (aged 2–6 preferred)
- Demonstrates a genuine interest in early childhood education
- Is proactive, reliable, and works well as part of a team
- Ideally has experience in an international or multilingual setting
- Has knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (or similar) and/or the British National Curriculum
- Relevant childcare or education qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Due to Italian immigration requirements, preference will be given to candidates with an EU passport or valid work permit.
