My client is looking for a HR Advisor to work onsite in Cheltenham for an aerospace/defence company. Your role will involve Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on a range of HR queries and people-related matters. Provide timely and pragmatic advice on employee relations issues, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance matters. Support managers in the application of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and legal compliance. Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the HR Manager as appropriate. Employee Lifecycle Management Support all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal moves and employee exits. Ensure employee records and HR systems are maintained accurately and in a timely manner. Support the preparation of HR documentation, by providing accurate information to HR Services. Ensure employee information is managed in accordance with GDPR and company requirements. Recruitment & Talent Support Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support recruitment activity and candidate onboarding. Coordinate recruitment administration and support a positive candidate experience. Assist with the delivery of induction and onboarding programmes for new employees. Support talent and development initiatives where required. Stakeholder Support & Continuous Improvement Build effective working relationships with managers and employees across the business. Support the delivery of HR initiatives and projects as required. Assist with the gathering and analysis of HR data and reporting. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Employee Engagement & Culture Support employee engagement and wellbeing activities across the site. Assist with communications and initiatives that promote Eaton's values and culture. Build positive relationships with employee representatives and support engagement activities where required. Qualifications/Experience Proven experience in an HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor or equivalent generalist HR role. CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience), with CIPD Level 7 advantageous. Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. Experience managing a range of employee relations cases independently. Experience within an engineering, manufacturing or operational environment is desirable. Experience working within a large corporate organisation is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels. Pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to problem solving. Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Willingness to travel occasionally as business requirements dictate.
