Job Description We are looking for a skilled Switchgear Installer to join busy engineering team. \n This role is site-based, and you would be expected to travel nationwide, work as a part of expert team, focus on installation/fitting and supporting various projects across the UK. \n Duties: \n \n Installation – to carry physical installation of switchgear and associated equipment. \n To understand of electrical transmission and distribution systems. \n Be able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. \n Testing – to lead commissioning activities, including mandatory routine and type tests. \n Maintenance - to lead preventative maintenance schedules and complex fault diagnosis/repairs. \n \n Skills: \n \n Experience working on switchgear/fitting/wiring. \n Expertise in installing and commissioning switchgear. \n Happy to work away (field - based role). \n Good communication skills \n Full UK driving Licence. \n \n Qualifications \n \n \n NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering/Wiring or equivalent \n Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent \n \n \n What's on Offer: \n \n Companies Van share \n Mon-Thur, 8am - 4:30pm \n Friday - early finish \n Travel time & accommodation expenses covered \n Opportunity to progress to supervisory role \n Training and support \n Companies pension + benefits \n Immediate start \n \n If you're interested, please call Giedre on 07891906984 or send your CV. \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
