About the Role:
Leave the retail rush behind and deliver top-quality eye care directly to patients in care homes. With the backing of an experienced dispenser, you'll focus entirely on providing exceptional sight tests and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough sight tests for patients unable to visit high street practices.
- Provide expert advice on eye health, eyewear options, and frame selection.
- Communicate clearly with patients, care home managers, and families.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
- Engage in team meetings for continuous improvement.
What You Need:
- GOC registration and appropriate OPL/Health board registration.
- Minimum of 1 year post-qualified experience (domiciliary experience a bonus).
- Strong understanding of NHS guidelines and compliance.
- Empathy, patience, and outstanding communication skills.
