This is a fantastic opportunity for an Optical Assistant who enjoys delivering excellent patient care while working within a friendly and professional team environment. You'll be supporting the Optometrists and wider practice team using modern equipment including OCT, fundus camera technology, visual fields and pressure testing equipment.
The Role Includes:
- Dispensing to all levels including single vision, bifocal, varifocal and occupational lenses
- Carrying out pre-screening examinations
- Contact lens teaches
- Supporting day-to-day practice duties including collections, adjustments, repairs and frame styling
- Delivering a high level of customer care throughout the patient journey
This role would suit somebody with a minimum of 12 months' optical experience who enjoys both the clinical and retail side of optics and wants to be part of a positive, team-focused environment.
The Package:
- Salary up to £26,000 depending on experience
- Bonus typically between £1,000 - £1,500 per year
- Genuine long-term development opportunities including management progression
