The Team
You'll be joining a welcoming team of four, working closely alongside an experienced Dispensing Optician/Optometrist and Optical Assistants who genuinely support one another to provide the highest standard of care.
The Role
This is a varied position where you'll split your time between the practice floor and the glazing lab. Your responsibilities will include:
- Glazing spectacles
- Assisting patients throughout their optical journey.
- Repairs and frame adjustments.
- Dispensing and frame styling.
- General administration and supporting the day-to-day running of the practice.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous Optical Assistant experience.
- Has practical glazing experience (essential).
- Enjoys working directly with patients.
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Works well as part of a small, supportive team.
- Is reliable, organised and happy to get involved wherever needed.
Salary & Benefits
- £26,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
- 34.75 hours per week.
- Five-day working week.
- One Saturday off every month.
