We're currently working with a respected independent optical practice in Coventry that's looking to add an experienced Optical Assistant to their established team. This is a calm, supportive environment where you'll be trusted to manage your responsibilities without unnecessary pressure, while still contributing to a team that takes pride in delivering a high standard of care.
The Role
This is a hands-on position where you'll be involved across the full patient journey. You'll need to be confident in all aspects of dispensing and comfortable working in a steady, patient-focused practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Dispensing a broad range of frames and lenses
- Providing a consistently high level of customer service
- Supporting the clinical team with daily operations
- Building strong relationships with patients and maintaining a welcoming practice environment
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 12 months' experience within optics
- Confident dispensing at all levels
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a relaxed but accountable setting
