We are looking for a Water Audit Consultant to join our successful Water team. This is a Home Based role with some nationwide travel required.
Role and Responsibilities
The primary objectives of the role are to Identify opportunities for client savings and refunds from supplier charging errors and/or water wastage at client sites. This is achieved through desktop analysis of water charges and consumption and on-site surveys of client sites to validate and confirm claims.
The successful candidate\βs responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Data analysis and evaluation of supplier invoices for water, wastewater, surface water and highway drainage, trade effluent, abstraction licenses and environment agency discharge permits, to identify where commercially viable savings on charges or consumption are possible.
- Conduct onsite surveys of any client sites identified where possible savings or refunds may be available.
- Reporting of findings both internally and to clients.
- Provide technical assistance and support to the wider business on water and related subjects.
- Read and comply with the companyβs Health and Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the Health and Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential:
- Excellent data analysis
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office β Word, Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills regarding information gathering and delivery both verbal and written
- In depth knowledge of UK commercial water/waste-water tariffs
- Wide knowledge of water usage within industrial processes / how water is used on different sites
- Full UK driving licence
