My client is a franchisee of one of the most well-known groups in the Wandsworth area who is now looking to employ a Qualified Dispensing Optician Manager with a view to support the Optician with their upcoming relaunch – including an exciting refit in the new year!
Qualified Practice Manager
This is a Full time opportunity for a Qualified Dispensing Optician/Practice Manager to join this small, single clinic practice but nevertheless has built a reputation of quality and service in a well maintained, personable practice.
This is very much a family feel environment and servicing a mixed patient demographic, with a loyal base of patients but also staff!
They have a reputation for looking after your whole family and offer a good range of eyewear brands and lenses.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Practice Manager
The combined role will mean you are accountable for the KPI’s and driving the business forward. You will coach and train colleagues and be heavily involved in the commercial development too, which means bringing great new ideas and initiatives, as well as, marketing your practice effectively to ensure sales soar.
Requirements of the Qualified Practice Manager
We’re looking for experienced managers, from a similar busy opticians and is essential you already have a proven record of accomplishment in management growing a business year on year.
Must be comfortable to make decisions and to work off your own initiative.
You will have a friendly and personable demeanour and a strong personal work ethic, with customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
Compensation for the Qualified Practice Manager
For the role, my client is offering a competitive basic salary of up to £35,000 for non QDO Practice Managers bonus potential up to £5,000 in bonuses per annum, and a salary of up to £40,000 for Qualified Practice Managers, with a exciting bonus!
You will work full time with opening hours of Hours: Monday – Saturday 9 am-5:30 pm, 5 days a week. Candidates must be flexible to work on Saturdays.
