The Role
We are seeking a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our manufacturing site in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. This permanent position offers an annual salary of £30,725 and works Monday - Thursday.
Offer Details:
- £13.03 per hour
- 48 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday (06:00 to 18:00)
- Paid monthly
Note: Own transport is required as there are no public transport routes to the factory.
Responsibilities:
- Supply raw and packaging materials to production to ensure continuous operation
- Store finished goods and prepare loads for dispatch
- Unload incoming vehicles and store materials following procedures
- Pick and load goods for dispatch, ensuring accuracy
- Maintain safety standards and report hazards
- Ensure FLT fleet is maintained and report damages
- Assist in training new colleagues and act as a buddy
Requirements:
- Experience in manufacturing or similar role
- FLT / Counterbalance or reach truck license (must provide certificate)
- Good literacy and numeracy skills, fluent in English
- Availability for overtime (up to 12 hours/week at time and a half, beyond at double time)
