Responsibilities
- Supply the production departments with raw and packaging materials in order to maintain a continuous production programme
- Locate all finished goods from production areas into the Warehouse for storage until despatch
- Unload as and when required all incoming vehicles and rack away the materials following acceptance and GRN generation
- Pick and assemble loads ready for dispatch. Load outgoing vehicles with finished goods as detailed on the loading despatch paperwork
- Work in a safe manner at all times ensuring the safety of myself and colleagues. Follow health and safety policies and procedures at all times and raise any health and safety concerns through the appropriate channels
- Ensure FLT fleet is fit for purpose through completing starter documentation and reporting damage to FLTs and plant damage by following the appropriate procedure
- Undertake training and assist with the training of other colleagues when required.
- Act as a buddy for new colleagues and provide guidance where necessary.
- Experience in a same / similar role within Manufacturing
- FLT / Counter balance or reach truck experience is essential (must be able to provide certificate or license)
- A good standard of education; demonstrates good literacy and numerical skills, able to understand, communicate and report clearly in English
